ecomflow is a strong China fulfillment provider for brands that manufacture in China and hold their own stock, but its own site says its model is not designed for stock-free dropshipping. If you dropship, or are moving from dropshipping to your own stock, look at agents and partners that source per order: HyperSKU, CJdropshipping, ASG, German Drop, Yakkyofy or Flashfulfil.

Key takeaways

  • ecomflow serves DTC brands that make products in China and hold stock.
  • Dropshippers need a partner that sources products for them and ships per order, without a stock commitment up front.
  • Platforms (CJdropshipping, Yakkyofy) give you a catalogue and self-serve tools. Private agents (ASG, Flashfulfil) give you a person and a quote per deal.
  • All competitor figures below are the companies' own claims as of 13 October 2026. They change, so check before you sign.

Is ecomflow good for dropshipping?

Not for classic dropshipping, and ecomflow is upfront about that. Its FAQ says it "works with DTC brands manufacturing in China and holding stock" and that its fulfillment model "is not designed for stock-free dropshipping" (ecomflow.com, checked 13 October 2026).

That is a clear choice of customer, not a weakness. The idea: a brand keeps inventory close to its factory in China and ships each order directly to the customer, instead of sending bulk stock by sea to an overseas warehouse. It advertises worldwide delivery in 3 to 10 days, and a factory to customer average of 5 to 8 days that it labels as illustrative (ecomflow.com). It runs from "two strategic locations in China" and says it started in 2023 (ecomflow.com/about).

Who ecomflow is a great fit for: an established brand with its own manufactured products, stock already in China, and a need for branded packing, local returns through partner networks, a dedicated account manager and post-purchase tools such as its Postflows tracking updates (ecomflow.com). Its case studies name brands such as ICON Amsterdam and FluffCo. Pricing is quote-based.

Its Trustpilot TrustScore is 3.4 from only 9 reviews as of 13 October 2026 (Trustpilot), too few to judge.

What is the difference between a 3PL and a dropshipping agent?

A 3PL (third-party logistics provider) stores stock you already own, then picks, packs and ships it. You bring the products. ecomflow works much like a 3PL based in China.

A dropshipping agent goes one step earlier. It finds and buys the product for you, often per order or in small batches, checks it, packs it and ships it. You do not need to own inventory before your first sale.

Many stores sit in between: they start stock-free, then buy bulk stock of their winners once order volume is steady. Our guide on when to move to bulk stock in a China warehouse covers that switch, and China fulfillment vs an EU 3PL compares where that stock should sit.

Which ecomflow alternatives work for dropshippers?

Six options that accept dropshippers, from each company's own pages unless marked otherwise.

Flashfulfil

A China-based fulfillment partner with its own office and warehouse in China, operated by Hexie Tuzi Limited, Hong Kong. It works with growing EU dropshippers and brands, and helps newer stores start. You send any product, it sources it and sends a quote, you approve, and it fulfills: receiving, storage, inventory management, quality control, pick and pack, and worldwide shipping through carrier partners. Stated figures: 99.9% order accuracy and 24h processing time. Pricing is quote-based. The founders ran their own dropshipping stores for years. A client portal and an AI support assistant are being built.

HyperSKU

A China sourcing and fulfillment agent platform. It says "there are no subscription fees", promises sourcing within 48 hours, claims 10+ global warehouses and states 5 to 12 days global shipping (hypersku.com). Free and Premium plans are both $0, with free China storage of 30 or 60 days (HyperSKU pricing). Strong point: a well-rated, no-subscription model for dropshippers and brands alike.

CJdropshipping

The largest name here: a platform with a catalogue, sourcing requests and its own warehouses. Its Shopify app is free to install, with product and service fees, and it rates 4.9 from 2,871 reviews as of 13 October 2026 (Shopify App Store). It claims 2 to 3 days delivery from local warehouses. A third-party review measured CJPacket from China to Europe at 8 to 16 days (Dropshipping Champions). Strong point: catalogue size and automation for stores still testing products.

ASG Dropshipping

A private agent in Dongguan with "over 200 staff", 4 warehouses and a personal agent. It promises a quote and a sample inspection video within 24 hours, and processes eligible orders within 1 to 3 business days. It has no setup fee (asgdropshipping.com). Its Europe delivery figures differ between its FAQ (7 to 12 days) and its delivery table (5 to 10 days from China). Strong point: the inspection video before you commit.

German Drop

A Shopify app by KUNYI in Hangzhou that promises to "ship faster across Europe with German & U.S. warehousing", a 1-on-1 dedicated agent and 90 days of free warehousing. It is free to install; you pay fulfillment costs. It rates 5.0 from 169 reviews as of 13 October 2026 (Shopify App Store). Strong point: stock in Germany for faster EU delivery.

Yakkyofy

An Italian platform, a trademark of Yakkyo S.p.A., listed on Euronext Growth Milan. Plans run from $0 to $299 a month, with no MOQ and pre-shipment QC from Premium (Yakkyofy pricing). It states 9 to 15 business days on its Standard Special Line and 5 to 10 on its Premium line, and promotes EU-standard invoicing (yakkyofy.com). Strong point: a European company behind the service.

How do I choose the right China fulfillment partner?

1. Stock model. If you hold stock and make your own products, ecomflow is a serious option. If you sell without stock, choose an agent that buys per order. In between? Pick a partner that does both, so you need not switch when you buy in bulk.

2. Sourcing need. Platforms work when the product is in their catalogue. For unusual products or better prices, you need sourcing on request. HyperSKU, ASG, CJ and Flashfulfil all offer that in some form.

3. Markets. Agents with EU stock, such as German Drop, can deliver faster inside Europe for the products they hold there. If you also sell outside the EU, ask each provider for real delivery times per country, not one global range. Customs rules matter too: see our IOSS and EUR 3 duty guide.

4. Processing time. The days before a parcel leaves the warehouse are the part your agent controls. Compare like with like: ASG states 1 to 3 business days for processing, while HyperSKU's 48 hours refers to sourcing.

5. Transparency of costs. A $0 plan is not the same as a low total cost. Ask for a per-order breakdown: product, packing, service fee and shipping. Then run it through a margin calculator.

6. Communication. A Dutch guide advises that a serious agent replies within 12 hours, even at weekends, and to walk away after 24 hours of silence (Copyfy). See how to find and vet a private dropshipping agent for a full checklist.

Frequently asked questions

Is ecomflow good for dropshipping?

Not for stock-free dropshipping. ecomflow's own FAQ says it works with DTC brands that manufacture in China and hold stock, and that its model is not designed for stock-free dropshipping. If you own your products and stock, it is worth a quote. If you buy per order from suppliers, a dropshipping agent or a partner that sources for you is the better fit.

Is ecomflow the same as EcoFlow?

No. ecomflow (ecomflow.com) is a China-based fulfillment provider for eCommerce brands. EcoFlow is a separate brand known for portable power stations. The names are close, so check the domain when you search for ecomflow reviews, pricing or delivery times, and make sure the page you read is about fulfillment.

What is the difference between a 3PL and a dropshipping agent?

A 3PL stores, picks, packs and ships stock that you already own. A dropshipping agent also finds and buys the product for you, often per order, so you do not need inventory before your first sale. Some partners do both, which helps when a store starts stock-free and later buys bulk stock of its best sellers.

Which is better, CJdropshipping or a private agent?

It depends on your stage. CJ suits stores testing many products, thanks to its catalogue and automation. A private agent suits stores with steady winners that want one contact, sourcing on request and more control over quality. Many sellers start on a platform and move winners to an agent later.

Do I need my own stock to use a China fulfillment center?

Not always. ecomflow expects you to hold stock. Agents such as HyperSKU, ASG and Flashfulfil can source products for you, so you can start without buying inventory first. Moving your best sellers to bulk stock later can lower your unit cost, but only do it once you know which products sell consistently.

How fast should a dropshipping agent process orders?

Stated processing times in this comparison range from 24 hours (Flashfulfil) to 1 to 3 business days (ASG). Processing is the time before a parcel leaves the warehouse, so it is separate from shipping time. Ask every provider how they measure it, whether weekends count, and what happens when a product is out of stock.

Are there ecomflow alternatives with warehouses in Europe?

Yes. German Drop advertises warehousing in Germany and the US, and CJdropshipping says it runs warehouses outside China, which third-party reviews list as including Germany. EU stock can shorten delivery inside Europe for the products held there. It also means buying stock ahead of time, so weigh faster delivery against tying up cash in inventory.
